5 POPULAR NIGERIAN SWALLOW

 There are different of swallows in Nigeria and accompanied with nice varieties of soups which goes with different type of swallow. Some of the popular swallows in Nigeria are;

1.) Amala

Amala is a staple southern Nigerian food made of cassava flour, yam flour or unripe plantain mostly consumed in the south-west part of Nigeria. It goes with diverse of soups including vegetable, draw soup and Ewedu.

2. Eba



Eba is a staple food made from fried cassava(Garri). We have the white Garri and the white Garri. Eba is highly underrated as it does not go bad so quick and can go with all kinds of Nigerian soup.

3. FUFU



Fufu is a West-African staple food which is prepared by pounding processed cassava or preparing on medium heat. Fufu likewise goes with most kinds of soup.

4. Tuwo Shinkafa


 Tuwo Shinkafa is mostly eaten in the Northern part of Nigeria. It is made of rice flour and mostly served with Miyan Kuka soup.

5. SEMO / WHEAT



Semo and wheat are mostly prepared on medium heat. Semo is whitish in color while wheat is brownish. They go well with egusi, vegetable,draw soup and other nigerian soup.
